Sebastian Vettel to leave Red Bull Racing

Sebastian Vettel
For the past four years Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing proved to be unstoppable. With great engineering, and excellent driving skills the team looked as though they would beat just about every formula one record there ever was. In winning the championship for the past four years Vettel became the youngest driver in F1 history to win a title. It seemed to be almost a sure thing that he would surpass the legendary Michael Schumacher when it came to the winning the most titles. But then the year 2014 came and things started to go terribly wrong for the young german. First, the car was not as reliable as it had been in previous years. Leaving him with 3 DNF's (did not finish) out of 14 races thus far and Second, he has a new up and coming talented teammate by the name of Daniel Ricciardo. Ricciardo is currently third in the championship title standings, and is fifty seven points ahead of Vettel. With everything going on Sebastian Vettel decided that it was time that he and Red Bull Racing part ways. Vettel stated: " After 15 very enjoyable and successful years with Red Bull, I have decided to leave Red Bull at the end of this year". Following the official announcement Red Bull Immediately named Daniil Kvyat as Vettel's replacement.

Sebastian Vettel has not said what team he plans to drive for next year, but he did say: "about my future plans, there will be an announcement very soon". Now there are rumors that he may end up at Ferrari or possibly McClaren, but that remains to be seen because both Fernando Alonso and his fellow teammate Kimi Raikkonen are still under contract.

Well this year hasn't been all bad for Sebastian, his girlfriend did give birth to a baby girl back in January. So now he gets to experience all the joys of fatherhood with his daughter.

Regardless of what team Sebastian Vettel ends up driving for in 2015, or even if he never wins another race I think with a net worth of 28 million dollars (Celebrity Net Worth) he'll be just fine.
